Another grand day out.

January brings the snow,

Makes our feet and fingers glow.

What a lovely day we have had here on Tayside. wall to wall sunshine and very little wind a not cold at all. When I got up this morning I thought I was going to feel very down today feeling a bit lonely and blue have not seen anybody over the festive period with it excepting of Christmas Day not even a phone call. I suggested we had a trip to guess where St Andrews always does my heart good to go there.  Most of the shops were closed and most of the coffee shops too but still we had a nice walk and then a trip down to the shore.  It was so busy you would not believe it, there were hundred of people taking a walk along the beech. The sun shone all the way home and if it stays like this we will have a heavy frost tonight. I have written two new entries in my other journal if anybody is interested. Will close now in the hope you have a pleasant evening.   Love ,

I think we are all feeling the anti-climax Joan.  It is such a long time coming Christmas and we prepare for days in front and then we have New Year. Gone in a blink and everyone feels down.  Glad you managed to get out.  We had some weak sun this morning but it was gone by lunchtime to leave a very dark and gloomy day with very strong and very cold winds.  If you ever feel like a chat on the phone, let me know.

OH so glad you have had a little sunshine that alone makes us feel better Joan doesn't it.It is not a good feeling when we feel down and no phone calls come our way.I tend to often feel that way so you are not alone on that one.I hope you are  feeling better this evening.Yes there have been lots of visitors here too to the beach and walking, it is amazing how many people do come to the coast even in cold blustery weather too.Well I will pop over to your other journal now Have as nice an evening as possible Joan .Take care God Bless.

Hi Joan, we had wonderful sunshine and no wind on new years day so I sent it up to you to cheer you up! Could I please have it back now as we seem to have grey skies and wind again! I'm glad you had a good day out, it sounds like everybody up in Scotland had the same idea as you did and got out while the sun shone! Have a lovely day and don't forget to send my sun back, it was only on loan! Jeannette xx

It was lovely yesterday. I only got out for a short while because Sarah is still not that well. But I did enjoy the bit of sunshine we got,
Kate.
