Saturday

Good Afternoon, not been in the best of moods today Stuart thinks I am just getting moody in my old age. This morning when we arrived our out garden centre there were cars everywhere just for a moment we wondered what was happening then the penny dropped tickets for T in the park went on sale today. Next to our garden centre is the local information office and that's where some of the tickets were on sale. For those of you south of the border this is the largest music festival in Scotland and it takes place about miles away from where we stay near enough for us to be able to hear the music.  I don't usually complain about the festival but today if you could see the mess the queue has left behind you would feel as disgusted as I do . From what I have heard the village is in the same state as one of our local shops had some tickets to sell too. There is a Moto service station here so the people queing had access to coffee etc all night yes they have been queing all night long for their tickets, so its all the paper cups and hamburger holders that are all over the place it looks dreadful, rant over. T. in the Park not till July.
It has been very Spring like here all week and we managed to make a start on the garden one afternoon. What a difference a bit of weeding makes so hopefully we will get out again soon. We had a lot of rain on Thusday and again overnight so all is very wet at the moment.
Am off now to load some photos I have taken over the last week or so hope you enjoy. Love,

Love the photos.  Beautiful camelia.  It does annoy me when people drop litter like that, they would not like it if people came to their gardens and threw huge amounts of litter.  It only takes a bit of thought to pick it up.

How lovely to see the beautiful camelia aready flowering in the garden.  I have just got a few dafodils through and a few snowdrops, but a few of my rose trees have had flower the whole of the winter. Its quite amazing. The people who make such a mess should be made to clear it all up before they leave.  It do not set good examples to the young who think they can drop their litter anywhere. Take care. Kathie.

I can't stand litter bugs either! Surely your local council could have helped too with providing a few extra litter bins, they must know this event attracts crowds who want tickets. I love the camellias, they're so early! Have a lovely Sunday! Jeannette xx  http://journals.aol.co.uk/jlocorriere05/Welcometomytravels/

Don't know what it is about todays generation Joan but seems to me they have no idea what taking waste home with them means or what litter bins are for. They disgust me at times on viists to differant places iv'e been up and down the country.I don't make any wonder rats are numerous nowadays up and down the towns and in peoples gardens etc.The Camelia is beautiful.Hope your moods soon change we are allowed to feel like this now and again LOL!! Take care Lovely pics God Bless.

It's a shame about the T in the park people.  I guess it's really the only music festival that Scottish people don't have to travel too!!  I hope you are having a good weekend xx
