Thank you D. for the graphic.
February brings the rain,
Thaws the frozen lake again.
Just come back in after a rather cold walk with Stuart. It is very mild today but there is a cold wind now. While walking it was nice to see many snowdrops crocus and winter aconite out already. Below is a picture of our hellebore. This is the first year we have had this one and we have had two big flowers on it. I bought the plant in Wells next the Sea on holiday last year so I am really pleased with the result. I had one before, but it died an early death because I had my Dad's dog at the time and it was a favourite spot for the leg cocking leg process. I have a pot of snowdrops just coming out that I rescued from a lay-by. Someone had been digging them up and left some lying about, so I brought them home and planted them up in a tub and they have really thickened up in the two years I have had them. I know its against the law to dig up snowdrops but they were gong of die lying where they were in the middle of a lay-by. Think that's about it for today not a great deal happening just now so I will wish you good evening.

Joan.

you are so lucky.... it will be months yet before we see any flowers here. Sandra
Hi Joan. I do envy you able to get out and walk that is something I miss such a lot, to be able to walk through the woods. I have to get about so much in the car but I am greatful for that. The picture is stuning. There are not a lot of flowers out here in my garden a few snowdrops, but the dafodills are really trying to poke thier heads through. Its Hannah day for Idris and I today, she has just gone home so we can relax. Love having her but find it very tiring. Kathie.

A beautiful picture Joan. I'm glad you rescued the snowdrops. It was the right thing to do! And now you get the pleasure out of them every year. I thought it was cooler today, especially when the breeze blew up this afternoon,
Kate.

Gorgeous flower Joan :) It's amazing how many of the flowers are making an early appearance. We are waiting for the Daffs to open up outside our office window. It's a clear sign the weather is seriously screwed up isn't it?

It's mild here too Joan, I don't know what's up with our weather, we've had daffodils in flower in our garden at work since January 1st!! You Hellebore is so pretty, I love the delicate markings on it! Jeannette xx
