Good Afternoon, this is the first time this winter that we have had a frost that has stayed all day. The temperature has hovered around zero and it has felt cold. We have not had time to feel it as we have been busy moving a bookcase around and I have been trying to catch up with some things I have been neglecting of late. I spend too much time up here on the PC and not enough on the housework. Things are now looking better and we are nearly ready for Christmas, just have the wrapping to do. We have not had anymore rain the last couple of days but as we have not been out much don't know how things are drying out will see tomorrow when we go out for the day, weather permitting. We decided today to get rid of all the videos we have collected over the years now we have changed over to DVD and have mastered working it, I hope. When you see the room that was taken up with all those blank videos and the space now required for the DVD's I feel I now have a bigger house. Think that's about all for now not an awful lot happening so not much to tell you. Have a good evening? Love

Hi Joan, videos do take up a lot of room don't they, I'm glad you got all yours cleared out for Christmas! I have asked Santa to get me a DVD recorder/,and my aim is to do just what you have done ,and about the time spent on here we- eell erm yes ! ...love Jan xx
sounds like its a good thing you did to get the dvd and change over... I did that too but still use my old tapes some time..... we have a dev and video player in one and you can put the videos on the dvd and make more room but I haven't gotten around to that yet as it takes so much time. I have to wrap my gifts yet too.... be glad when its done too. Sandra
I spend too much time on the pc too. Wonder what we would all be doing if we didn't have computers etc.........Well done for having a tidy up though. I think I should take a leaf out of your book ;-)

I could easily be online day and night, but i try to only come online in the evenings. it is so addictive! sometimes i've come online during the day to look up something specivic and found myself on here for an hour before i've realised, then i shut the comp down untill evening...

We did that last year, got rid of all the old video's... Blockbuster bought them off us for pennies, but it gave us so much more space it was worth it.
Hoping to get all my wrapping done today :o)
