Monday Monday.

Good Afternoon, not an awful lot going on today but here goes.  Overnight and this morning we had very heavy rain  that was welcome as the ground was very dry  with the sun and the wind.  Just around lunchtime when we got back from Perth the sun broke through and this afternoon has been lovely with a strong wind but very warm. All went well at hospital blood pressure very good today so they were pleased with that.  Doctor still wants me to try again to ween myself off HRT when the weather cools down in the Autumn. Have tried this before and it did not work but will try again just to please her.
Yesterday I changed the shower curtain and this morning the fresh one  fell down no not on me on Stuart. Now if I could get this to happen a few more time I may be able to persuade him to get a shower screen.  Heres hoping.
We have been sitting tin the garden most of the afternoon reading well I have been trying in between Stuart reading out bits about the book on Snow Geese he is reading so I am not getting on very well with my book.  The Clematis (Nelly Moser) is a picture I took at the weekend of the one that grows up the back of our house it is looking great just now the flowers are so big. I think that about winds thing up so far today time for 'Friends' while I make the tea.  Have a great evening take care.

Your Nelly Moser is lovely ~ we havn't had storms yet but they have told us we are in for some ~ Glad the hospital appointment went well and they are pleased with your blood pressure reading ~ they have stopped giving HRT to women in England ~ so didn't have a choice they just stopped them ~ Hope the shower curtain that fell on Stuart didn't hurt too much ~ a shower screen will be much better ~ here's hoping you get one soon ~ Ally

Hi! Joan...yes I'm back (lol)
Glad everything went well at the Hospital.
I was on HRT for years, but weaned myself off them.
Your signature is very much like a Brooch that Allan bought for me!

Hi Joan,  I have several clematis and plan to get a Nelly Moser very soon, they have such gorgeous flowers.  I have one very similar, I forget the name, but it`s slightly darker in colour but the same size.  I have a shower screen and it`s much better than a curtain, so much easier to keep clean too.  I`ve been on HRT for ages now but my doctor wants me to keep taking it for now.  I tried to stop once before with very unpleasant results.

I love Clematis, such pretty, showt flowers! Do you think Stuart might suspect something if the curtain keeps falling down on him?! Glad your BP was OK today. Jeannette xx

The poster and sig are beautiful Joan. Stick to the HRT. Wish docs would prescribe it for me, breast surgery 9 years ago put the brakes on HRT, but would take it if I could hold of it. Think it should be left to the discretion of the patient, after all it is our bodies. Take care.
Love Sylvia xx
