Satarday's musings.

Good Afternoon, has anybody seen the sun it seems to have run away or something up here has not been seen since the first. It is another damp dark day not nice at all.  We did the the weigh in this morning and after the shock have started our diet and get more exercise plan. It's very difficult to get you heart rate up when you are on 3 kinds of blood pressure pills but I will have to try as I really feel fat. All my skirts and trousers are tight and very uncomfortable and I can't wait till evening when I can put my dressing gown on its the only thing I possess that is comfy. We were out for our usual coffee this morning no home made scone today  and we walked to the coffee shop and back too aren't we good, we usually go in the car so that was a good start. Not a lot happening today alls quiet on the northern front.  Have been upset at all the dogs dying that's three in the last two weeks in J-land it seems really strange and I hope that is the end of it now. My heart goes out to those who have lost there best friend it is quite devastating. I think that about it for today wishing you a pleasant Saturday evening. Love

Can you, as my namesake, send me some motivation?..... I have to start to lose weight again, but I just cannot get motivated...once I start I am fine and lose nicely,  but perhaps it is the lousy weather getting me down!

Hi Joan we had One wonderful day when the sun shone - but it has disappeared and I can't find it anywhere....I don't need to diet in fact I could do with gaining a few pounds....- but am told it's a good idea to use smaller plates - less food but because the plate is full you think you've had more...I suppose this could work unless you decide to have 2nd helpings...Hope you both have a lovely evening...Ally

Sounds like we're all - other than Ally - after losing a little weight.  We can do it together!  I'm not starting until all the Christmas goodies have been eaten though ;o)  It hasn't been a good time for dogs this last couple of weeks has it, so sad.

Hi Joan, I`m doing the same as you, no accompanying scone, biscuit or cake with morning coffee.  Everything is much tighter than I`d like and on friday I weighed myself and nearly fell off the scales with shock!  10 pounds will do it and will make all the difference, I started on Monday evening and have been as good as gold with no snacks in-between meals since.  Good luck with your regime, may it bring you much success.  I know how you feel about our friends losing their dogs, I met another friend here and her dog is seriously ill too.  It`s all so very sad.

And there was me thinking I was the only woman on this planet, who swaps her jeans and bra for a dressing gown, or nightie, by early evening. Put it down to hormones - I use that excuse for everything lol.

I love to get into 'Comfy' clothes of an Evening too.
Miserable .drizzle of a Day here , I need to lose weight !!
But, as you well know 'Tablets' don't help,
Take care...

It was sunny on Saturday but damp and dreary on Sunday.  Why can't both weekend days be sunny??  Have a good week!
