Hot and Humid

Thank you Donna for this lovely design.

Good Afternoon, It's very quiet in J-land today don't know where everybody is maybe taking the benefit of this little bit of summer we are having. In Perthshire today it is very hot and sticky I was out in the garden for lunch  and a read of the paper but I had to come in as my eyes were going together, so I have had a little nap and feel better now think it must be something in the air just now as Stuart's eyes are the same. Bought some nice miniature Daffs today from the garden centre called Baby Moon they are multi headed so I think they will look good with some miniature tulips I bought last week. I find if I buy a bit at a time you spread the cost more and don't miss it the same. The garden centre we go to for our coffee have a super selection just now and its nice to get in early in the season to get the best choice.                   It must be nearly Autumn as Stuart started back to his art class yesterday so that gives me back my Friday morning which is nice. Yesterday I just sat and read my book in the sunshine we have not had a great summer but I think it has been better than my j-land friends in the south you seem to have had more rain than we have.
I think that's all my ramblings for today hope you have a pleasant evening Casualty back tonight thank goodness really missed it while it was off. Bye for now.
                                  Love

Joan.

PS have finished another book and have updated my books journal.

Hi Joan yes I agree I am finding it hard to write each day and now just making it once a week to keep it going. I am sure as the nights draw in we will all be back on our computers more often. will look forward to seeing the daffs in the spring. glad you had a good day Kathie.

Hi Joan...

you mentioned in your comment on my journal that your friend uses something to paint on the metal of her glasses frames, can you let me know what it is called please, i've never heard of it before, it would save me buying new frames...with thanx!

We had a lovely day yesterday as well Joan.  The weather has been lovely.  It has also been a bit sticky and humid here, but I'm not complaining!
It will end all too soon, I know!

I agree, it is great having Casualty back and an extra episode tonight!!! So sad that Josh is going for good this series, thought he was going to get rid of that awful Dixie, lol!!! It is warm here today as well.......just wish I could be more positive today....lots happening at the moment and I am finding it hard to cope with it!!!

It's not fair - Ron bagged the sitting room telly and wouldn't have Casualty on! Had to record it, as I'm darned if I was going to sit on a hard chair in the kitchen. (Me bum gets backache lol). Thought I would watch it this afternoon, but sister-in-law turned up and now Ron's watching the telly again - swears he is, funny though, he's snoring! Willl have to record the 2nd instalment tonight as well now. Men!
As for the weather it's a forbidden subject here - am sick of cloudy days. Email me some of your sunshine please? Keep laughing.
Love Sylvia xx

Well, my locale has changed from Rockton, Illinois to Saint Paul, Minnesota: Weather here was REALLY HOT the first few days after I moved in.  The dorm was like a sauna.  Now it's gotten cool after a storm moved through, and you can start to feel the nip of fall in the air.  Colours are going to be spectacular!

Yes, Fall is in the air here too.  It's time for us to head south, just like the birds.
I too just love to sit and read in the sun.       Dawn http://journals.aol.com/adlessor/ACoupleofNomads/
